The App uses artificial intelligence to generate visual representations of your potential ancestors, past lives, and other personalized imagery based on photos and information you provide.

By downloading or using the App, you agree to the practices described in this Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, please do not use the App. This policy applies to all users on both iOS and Android.

Information We Collect

We collect the following categories of information:

Profile information you provide: your name, age, gender, ethnicity or ancestry background, and your stated motivation for using the App, which you enter during onboarding.
Photos and images: photos you select from your photo library or capture with your camera so the App can generate ancestry, past-life, partner, and related AI imagery.
AI-generated images: the images created by the App based on your inputs.
Device and technical information: device model, operating system version, language and region, app version, unique device and advertising identifiers, and network information.
Usage and diagnostic data: in-app interactions, session activity, feature usage, crash reports, and performance logs.
Purchase information: subscription and in-app purchase status and transaction identifiers (payment card details are processed directly by Apple or Google and are never collected by us).

Note: Despite its name, the App does not collect, request, or process any biological DNA, genetic samples, or laboratory test results. All results are AI-generated for entertainment and self-discovery purposes and are not based on genetic analysis.

How We Use Your Information

We use the information we collect to:

Generate personalized AI imagery (ancestors, past lives, ideal partner, origins, and similar features) based on your photos and profile details.
Provide, operate, and maintain the App's features.
Process subscriptions, in-app purchases, and credits.
Personalize your experience and content recommendations.
Analyze usage to improve our features, stability, and performance.
Diagnose and fix crashes and technical issues.
Send push notifications related to the App (where you have enabled them).
Display and measure the performance of advertisements.
Comply with legal obligations and prevent fraud or abuse.

Photos and Facial Imagery

To generate your personalized results, the photos you select or capture are uploaded securely to our processing servers and sent to our AI image-generation provider (Google Gemini). Your photos are used solely to produce the images you request.

We do not use your photos to identify you, build a facial recognition database, or for any purpose other than generating the requested imagery.
Uploaded source photos are processed transiently and are not retained longer than necessary to deliver your results.
Generated images may be saved to your device's photo library only when you choose to save or share them, which requires your permission.

Because facial imagery may be considered sensitive personal data in some jurisdictions, we limit its use strictly to the AI generation features you actively initiate.

AI-Generated Content

The App uses artificial intelligence (Google Gemini) to create illustrative images such as depictions of potential ancestors, past lives, and other personalized scenes. These outputs are fictional, artistic, and for entertainment and self-exploration purposes only. They are not factual, scientific, genealogical, or genetic determinations and should not be relied upon as such.

Permissions We Request

The App may request the following device permissions. You can grant or revoke them at any time in your device settings:

Camera: to take a photo for ancestry and image-generation features.
Photo Library: to let you choose existing photos for analysis and to save generated images to your library.
Tracking (App Tracking Transparency on iOS / Advertising ID on Android): to deliver and measure personalized advertising, only with your consent.
Notifications: to send you relevant updates and reminders.
Network access: required to upload photos and retrieve AI-generated results.

Denying a permission may limit certain features but you can continue to use other parts of the App.

Advertising and Tracking

The App displays advertisements through Google AdMob and may use advertising and analytics SDKs from Meta (Facebook) and TikTok to measure marketing performance and attribution.

On iOS, we request your permission through Apple's App Tracking Transparency framework before tracking you across apps and websites for personalized advertising. If you decline, you will still see ads, but they will be less personalized.
On Android, advertising relies on your Advertising ID, which you can reset or limit in your device settings.
These partners may collect device identifiers and usage data to deliver and measure ads.

You can opt out of personalized advertising at any time through your device privacy settings.

We work with trusted third-party services that may process your information in accordance with their own privacy policies. We encourage you to review them:

Subscriptions and In-App Purchases

The App offers subscriptions and in-app purchases (including credits) managed through Apple's App Store and Google Play, with subscription management handled via RevenueCat. All payment transactions are processed by Apple or Google; we do not receive or store your payment card information. Subscriptions renew automatically unless canceled at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, and you can manage or cancel them through your App Store or Google Play account settings.

Data Retention

We retain your information only for as long as necessary to provide the App's features and for the purposes described in this policy. Profile details you enter are stored on your device and, where applicable, on our servers to deliver results. Source photos used for AI generation are processed transiently and not retained longer than needed to produce your images. Analytics and diagnostic data are retained in aggregated or limited form for service improvement. When you delete your account or the App, associated data is deleted or anonymized as described below.

Data Security

We implement reasonable technical and organizational measures to protect your information, including encrypted transmission of data and photos to our servers and AI provider. However, no method of transmission over the Internet or electronic storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security. You use the App at your own risk and are responsible for safeguarding your device.

Children's Privacy

The App is not directed to children. It is intended for users aged 13 and older (or the minimum age of digital consent in your country, which may be higher, such as 16 in parts of the European Union). We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under the applicable age. Upon verification, we will delete your profile information, generated images stored on our servers, and other associated personal data, except where we are required to retain certain information to comply with legal obligations. Data stored locally on your device is removed when you delete the App.

International Data Transfers

Your information may be processed and stored on servers located outside your country of residence, including in the United States and other countries where our service providers operate. These jurisdictions may have data protection laws that differ from those in your country. Where required, we rely on appropriate safeguards, such as standard contractual clauses, to protect your information when it is transferred internationally.

Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time to reflect changes in our practices, technologies, or legal requirements. When we make material changes, we will update the "Last Updated" date and, where appropriate, notify you within the App. Your continued use of the App after changes take effect constitutes acceptance of the revised policy.
